A poem for everyone to take seriously... kudos to the author!
This is a very moving poem and very poignant too given the state of world affairs today.
This is just amazing...and you do make me fear that we assume far too much when we convince ourselves that those in charge of such destructive forces are either infallible or know exactly what they're doing. A brilliant poem.
You have described the horror of a nuclear catastrophe in powerful words. Great write.
Bight as a star.....thoughtful as gold.....................thanks for sharing.
I too am annoyed by war, by science used to harm humanity. Einstein warned us of this, you know. He must hate looking down at all the horrible fear his discoveries in science have caused.
very touching.. so much suffering can be caused by a single act of megalomaniac.. pain is heart rending
Killing thousands and maiming yet hundreds of thousands, Hiroshima and Nagazaki still continue as seething volcanoes! With much more powerful lethal weapons at our arsenals, the world can be obliterated in a matter of few hours or even seconds! Will anyone of us be left on Earth to write even an elegy, I wonder! (just a comic relief) Enjoyed the poem as well as the notes! !
What disturbing words; yet, they could very well come to pass. I hope you are utterly wrong. Einstein said that God doesn't roll dice (He doesn't gamble) I wonder.....
Great poem. Hope and pray your words are heard by those who have their hands on those buttons. Thanks for sharing.
Mind blowing and awareness stirring poem dear Sir! Hats off to such message oriented read!
A powerful write on the horrors of a nuclear catastrophe - - 'Today we all have our nuclear eggs Each kept warm by headless chickens Each worth a hundred Hirosimas Fission eggs to fusion eggs And the doctrine of omelette 'deterrence.
