Heartfelt tribute to Netaji excellently expressed dear Unnikrishnan.
Thank you dear poet. Politicians utter his name for votes. But we should remember him for he has made us proud by his conduct, his deeds, his actions.
A one of a kind tribute so brilliantly crafted and expressed.
Gandhi believed in peaceful resistance to force the British to leave India. But, Bose opted armed struggle against them. ‘Enemy's enemy is friend' was his principle and he joined hands with Japan and Germany in World War II.
The great works and words of a great man will always be remembered. They will defy his death.
Thank you, Rose Marie. The mutual love and respect, the inimitable relationship between Subhash Bose and MK Gandhi was based on this principle. Though, their ideas, ideals were diametrically opposite.
Netaji was such a great son of our nation, that I often feel, that we have not done justice to him!
Today is the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
What is significance of '125'? bri : ) There are some 'disturbing' comments about Bose at the end of a Wikipedia article, speaking of his ties to Germany and Japan during WW 11.
Given the atrocities committed by the occupation forces of Britain on the people of India, it is small wonder that the belligerent Netaji felt, "An enemy of our enemy is a friend".
