Near Rhyme Poem by Pleasant Dabbs

This poem was meant to be a test
To teach a concept and give a taste
Of what it's like to not completely rhyme

It taught me and it is a sign
That we really need to use our minds
And concentrate on all of the instruction

I know for sure that I'm not dumb
So when I finish and this is done
I will have shown that I have truly mastered

How to pen a good poem faster
And not be one of the last third
To send it in before the rest have finished
