Maha Gauri,
A personification of Supreme Grace,
Represents elegance, beauty and charm.
As the Mother of Ganesa or Vinayaka,
She is the protector and remover of all hurdles,
As the Mother of Kartikeya or Muruga,
She holds the spear to destroy all calamities,
As the powerful Shakti of Shiva
She is a Super Goddess of vibrant energy.
O Devi Maha Gauri!
Seated on Vrishabha or a bull,
Holding a Trishul or trident on one hand,
The other hand with the divine drum of Damaru,
A hand to protect and another to bless
Always shining like a beautiful pearl!
Bless me! O Mother Gauri!
Protect me from all catastrophes,
Embrace me with the affection of a Mother,
Elevate my mind to higher level of consciousness.
