Natures Calender December 2016 Poem by Alison Gaff

Natures Calender December 2016

December starts with a frosty morn
Its a really cold December dawn
As frost twinkles on the ground
Stars seem extra bright I've found

Is this a sign of things to come
The cold air makes your fingers numb
Two pairs of socks to warm your toes
I wish I had a thermal nose

The frost has bitten many a plant
Well it is December, that I'll grant
Some are safe in a sheltered nook
I'm sure you'll find some if you look

Now the month is half way through
I have some snow news just for you
The weathers changing from mild to wet
So probably no snow you'll get
