Natures Calendar November 2016 Poem by Alison Gaff

Natures Calendar November 2016

November came in cold and wet
Where did the mildness go
The weatherman warned of a drop
And says we could have snow

It changed so quickly over night
Did someone flick a switch
Is old Jack Frost up to his tricks
Or is it the Northern Pole Witch

There's one thing to be thankful for
The wind and rain have not yet come
But I think we'll all be shivering
With out the warming sun

They are saying it could get very cold
Temperatures down to minus ten
So we'll have to see how things pan out
And keep our fingers crossed till then

An usual its colder in the north
Think they've already had some snow
But they are made of sterner stuff
Than us southern softies, don't you know
