Nature Witness Confessor To Age Time Lost Secret Struggles Poem by Terence George Craddock

Nature Witness Confessor To Age Time Lost Secret Struggles

nature witnesses everything with time impartial eyes
nature witnesses everything yet tells no truths no lies
moon all seeing face witnesses everything silent tells nothing
death all seeing face witnesses all ends silent tells breath nothing

priest in silent screen confessional time lips tradition absolutions
nature in silent scene landscape neither life nor death promises
clouds white promise fair weather clouds black rain promises
sun promises light heat if fine sun a fine good day promises

night promises darkness hot cool or cold seasonal promises
night promises sleep deep or shallow soul pure guilt promises
sun knows light time schedules as ant animals daylight flourishes

darkness knows nocturnal time schedules shadow dark flourishes
nature as a friend confessor impartial in life death locked struggles
nature as a friend confessor witness to age time lost secret struggles
