Nature Wakes Poem by Michael Eziudo

Nature Wakes

On my usual strolls
Down the street poles
Counting them one, two
Caressed now by dawning air
My face and skin feel it's fresh and fair

At the sides I see dark green veggies turning green
And the birds chirping with grin
Beauties too all effulging
Colors turning bright and beautiful
My eyes held all the experiences to their full

The sun is pretty on duty
Waking all life to being busy
I felt the urge to look it up
When at last I gave in to the trump
I saw it was God smiling down at us
