Nature Vs. Law Poem by Lori Bergman

Nature Vs. Law

Nature needn't form's and fee's...
License for the buzzing bee's.
Do we charge them per ounce or reimburse for every mile?
Would there used up wings burned upon a fiery pile?
Charge the wisdom of the owl, for data in a file?
The wind to be charged for damage and rain
retribute.
Shadow ban the eagle for being astute?
Pay the snake for being mute.
Deduct it's scales for showing its fangs and snoot?
Lock away the Loon who dared imitate the piper's flute.
Restrict the waves!
It's truth we'd refute.
