Nature Comments

Rating: 3.4

That night it was drizzling nonstop,
Every where there spread a cryptic silence,
What made me wake up, I just wondered!
Naively sat there idle and watched the standstill nature,

Smiling moon and twinkling stars Made the sky so magnificent, Silver rays of beaming moon, you are dancing in the joys of nature. recently i came across a poet who believes that God is nature. your coining of words, images, expressions, are all wonderful you are lost in imagination and fascination. thank you for sharing.

This is a poem of JOY, and the speaker deserves her happiness because is so observant, appreciative and humble. Something mysteriously awoke her to the beauty which is naturally always there, but we sleep through it. Once awake, she is very alert and takes in so many lovely details. That's to her credit that she is aware of this special moment and makes the most of it. Your poem is rich in IMAGERY - sensory impressions of so many natural things, and this imagery makes an excellent poem. But I sensed a spiritual presence, veiled in the beauties of nature and night, not announcing itself directly, but indirectly permeating the scene. And this presence blesses both the woman and the reader.

A MYSTIC WORLD indeed which your sharp perception and sensitive observation have preserved as a thing of beauty forever! I too am a lover of nature and fully appreciate your extended description of one night out of many when you awakened in the midst of the natural miracle. And you were able to either recall things later or you wrote them down as they happened. Either way your poem has an immediacy that does justice to nature's every changing appearance. Your poem shows we don't just live on Planet Earth, We love Planet Earth, and that beauty and love should make us good guardians.

Nature is a wonderful phenomenon and source of thinking to poets, and story writers and novelists throughout the history of human civilization and it is happy to see the poem includes beautiful creativity using the correct imagination and reality of nature in its correct way of expression and I liked it very much. When read the poem I myself imagined I was residing in a hill resort of important destinations of such world area where fragrance of water lillies came to my attention and also the wind through bamboo forest affected in my body feeling and also imagination of birth and death of dawn and dusk or combination of nature through myst, air, and earth a wonderful imagination and poem is nice.

A very good poem Mallika. I love nature too. My only advice would be to put one or two line-breaks in your work - this gives the reader a chance to pause and appreciate the poem more easily. This is just my opinion of course.

An excellent imagery drawn of some captivating moments with nature. Well done! I think the poem would look better if divided into 3/4 stanzas.
