I Realized in Time

I realized in time,
What this was all about.
My eager eyes sought beauty,
Of the mountains and the water.

I wanted all of nature,
To surround me forever.
I walked through, jumped through,
And ran through the forests.

I wanted to own nature,
But something in me said.
I cannot God's creation get,
And so I just kept smiling and admiring.

I climbed the mountains majestic.
I knew they were sublime.
I climbed one or two,
Slowly and in time.
