Nartaki dances beautifully,
Moving and rising swiftly
Like a roaring wave,
At times, sweeping up so high,
At times, stooping so low,
A sudden thought!
Is life a battle of sentiments?
Nartaki changes her expressions
Like a moving cloud,
Sometimes, vibrant, vivacious,
Sometimes, pensive, penitent,
Th emotions so unsteady,
The sentiments changing its hues,
Isn't the rainbow a rare vision?
Like a roaring wave, Like a moving cloud, And like a rainbow of emotions and sentiments presented by the 'Nartaki' through her expressions, moves and movements charm the members of audience. Thanks, Geeta ji, for this poem of the series which has been a wonderful learning experience.
A beautiful and swift dance which is expressed by a devotional Nartaki is very much tender and heart touching and motivational of course. Moving cloud vibrates and a moving cloud moves. A great poem of perception is excellently presented...10
The exposition of emotions and synchronization of her dancing movements , a rare and difficult combination, has to be successfully accomplished by a dancer for making it beautiful. A wonderful analysis of the process and reasoning behind it. Thanks for sharing.
A great poem! Sheer determination of elegance, beauty and truth!

Interesting, dear poet/classical dancer, from what little I know of dances, the picture accompanying is of a Mohini Attam dance. I think with your back ground you can write a beautiful piece on salient features of different classical dance forms of India.
On second thought, may be, you already have one on PH.
