I invite you to read, Fattened By The Hand That Feeds, written for the taken in, stole my heart pets who came for dinner and never left....I can so relate to your tale (tail) ....enjoyed the write. Many of my best friends are four-legged.
very interesting and quite readable write for a light feel! ! !
A lovely poem, enjoying the way you chose Kirk. Poor kids. I laughed too at many of the great comments.
pets are dear to us. I like little dogs, but cats are nice too. a good poem
Quite humorous. Nice one. Cats will always keep us entertained.
You don't have to tell me what a dug is, but a dirk's a dagger and that'd be a good nickname, dags for short.
A delightful poem. I am a dog person so the cat would still be a stray.
I am more of a dog and bird person myself, but I have no doubt that your new acquisition is very cute. Great poem Danny.
It is such fun having a cute kitten in the household..... with a mix of white and black! No matter, it is a stray cat! After all your confusion in naming him, I wonder what name, you finally chose for it! Exactly a similar looking stray kitten once sneaked into our house which was fed with milk and cookies for two days! But unfortunately my husband who is averse to cats drove her away to my great disappointment! It is fun watching cats annoying dogs! An interesting write!
Oh, that's a great poem about one of nature's cutest creatures! Thanks Danny for this heart-warming gift.
Reread this again and was reminded of fair warning my mother used to give me. She basically told me that strays and lovers, quite the same, once you feed them and give them a nickname, they steal your heart! The cat will usually stay longer! PEACE, in a purr-fect way!
