i THINK you mean 'what's good for the goose is good for the gander'** I.e. if a boy can be so negligent/irresponsible, so can Mom! ! ! ha ha! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ** [thanks to Google]: What's good for the goose is good for the gander definition. What is good for a man is equally good for a woman; or, what a man can have or do, so can a woman have or do. This comes from an earlier proverb, “What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.” - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - a smart AND funny one to go to MyPoemList asap! and it would be a fine addition to January's showcase! what do YOU say? bri :) p.s. i think Toys 'R' Us and Kmart love kids like THAT! !
