Mystery Of All Miseries Poem by Esther Ajibola

I am scared of losing it!
I have been ordained and iniciated,
taken an oath that I must keep and preserve with my life!

Guarded with the task of bringing more into the fraternity
unable to run away coz I have been tied down with my soul!
The more I try to run, the deeper I get into the shady deals of the fraternity!

But, in this fraternity, something seems to fascinate and surprise me.
The covenant with which we took an oath was continiously sealed with the blood
of the lordship of the fraternity!

It meeting always took place in broad day light!
Operating without being questioned!
Hence making me fear more for my life!

Anyone who tries to flee from the fraternity,
never seem to be lucky with the other world!
Coz they end up being captives of the other world!
in which we call the dark world fraternity in our fraternity!

I decided to stay put in the fraternity
but my mind never seem to be at rest!
I was baffled! because, we the fraternity members never saw his lordship!
His seat was placed up so high!
His face filled with so much glory!
His feet at which we seat and communed!
His aura, filled with authority and majesty!
Whose face we cannot see nor behold!
His presence fills the atmosphere
with so much joy! making my heart rejoice!
and leaving me in Awe!

I found a way to escape!
but, it seems I have finally lost interest in leaving the fraternity!
I sought to question the Identity of his lordship!
I wanted to know who he was
But, the more I try, the more complicated it becomes!
then, I resort to believe that he is not a mere mortar but an immortal!

Thinking this fact would be enough to convince me was a big lie to my face!
because he always does the undoable!
Performing miracles without magic!
recruiting in new members in millions and in thousands!
with his doings!

I decided to battle with his lordship,
I wanted to question his identity!
but, the opportunity came
after he summoned me into his chamber
His face was so glorious!
no one dared looked at it and remained the same!

I summoned courage and I asked who he truly was!
and with a cheerful tone, He answered and said:
'I am the I am that I am! , the beginning and the end!
The word that came to life!
The mystery that solved all misery and created all history!
The one who has all power!
Created all and governed all! '

This reply seem to puzzle me even more!
because, as he gave his replies,
the whole earth shook and trembled
and i was filled with Awe!
I decided and I asked further from what lineage
he came from, and he answered and said once more:
'I am the lion of the tribe of judah'

This reply bothered me more!
but, his last reply explained it all!
He said: 'I created the heavens and the earth!
and all that is in it!
I have the power to life and
I know the intent of every mans heart!
I knew you before you were born!
I am that despised and forsaken lamb!
that was led to the cross and died
for the sins of many though sinless!
I resurrected that everyone can be saved!
I am the lord!
I am Christ! '
Yes he is and he is christ! .

And now, I dedicate my
Whole existence to him and to the fraternity!
To be a member for life! and bring in new members
into the fraternity!
