Jaboticaba.... brilliant, delicious, addictive. A bit rare but increasing in popularity.Good for bonsai.

Amazing! I looked up jaboticaba (I thought it sounded Brazilian, and it is) and the images they showed look very much like this fruit, but this fruit is NOT jaboticaba.

It looks like blueberry, but probably not. Did you know that Blackberries are red when they're green?

It does look a lot like a blueberry, but it is not a blueberry. Yes, I knew that blackberries are red when they are green. I used to confound my students by telling them that. Incidentally, I have never grown blueberries (I have a brother in another state who does) but I believe that blueberries must also be red when they are green. I will have to ask my brother.
