Fruit one did not take long
to identify.
Will you get this one wrong
or glorify
yourself when you get it right?
Let's see if you are bright!

This is jack fruit. It may be a mysterious fruit in Cold countries. Here in India it is plentily available. It is fruit of Summer season. It can be eaten raw by making curry. When ripe it is very juicy and tasty.

Bharati, thank you for commenting. In Brazil these fruits grow very large, bigger than most watermelons. I assume they get about as large in India.

Geoffrey, you are correct. It is a jackfruit. In Brazil they call it 'jaca'.
