Mystery Flowers 12a (Limerick)

Number twelve was a little too hard,
Perhaps you could say avant-garde.
But it could now be said
That it's sporting some red
And it is the pride of my yard.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is the same flower as mystery flower 12, which nobody was able to solve because it was not yet in bloom. Perhaps now someone can recognize it.

(This is not a contest. There is no prize for solving it, just the satisfaction of doing so.)
