It's time to give up all your gloom:
Don't be a harbinger of doom.
Would it give you shame
If you could not name
A flower that is not yet in bloom?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My neighbor across the street has the same type of flowers, and hers have been in full bloom for more than two weeks, and mine are yet to bloom (and here it is the 14th of August) !
The difference is that hers are in full sun, and mine are on the shady side of the house. Mine will keep blooming for weeks after hers are gone. That's the upside.

This is not a contest. There is no prize for identifying these flowers, just the satisfaction of doing so.

I haven't got a clue without the flower itself. Poemhunter has not been notifying me of comments lately. Are getting notice?

I do not have my profile set up to get notices, and never have. I have far too many e-mails to read as it is.
