For most part of the poem the poet treats wife as a friend, all actions meant to please her. Wife devotes her life for her man. Renunciation must be a mutually agreeable situation and not a one way decision. I don't seem to agree with conclusions of cheating and feeling like a pet. I liked the way the poem started off.

Let me clear I am captivated and I am cheated In my whole existence In this material world. ''I am just like a pet And dance according to The order of my master- desire And I am going to lost. '' you depict the attachment to or on any thing not good for any one...it curtains freedom.. lovely....
