I may not be a parent to be proud of...... but I am proud of parenting my family of hundreds. In every line, I can sense the joy and contentment of a teacher! Yes, a diligent teacher who is committed to the students under her/ his charge will be loved and respected by the students. Teaching, I believe is the noblest of professions! We are lucky that we belong to the category of teachers! Enjoyed the poem Jaishree!

Most favourite lines are.....I may not be a lovable person.... but I am swimming in the river of love of my children. Thank you much for posting such a gem. ........ 10
Truly, a teacher, s joy lies in his students approach, A lovely poem indeed.
A great Teacher's Day we are having with so many devoted teachers in poesy opening up their hearts and feelings. Nice write.
Beautiful, a teacher who loves and respects her children, and wants the best for them. Lovely poem and it sounds by a lovely lady xxx
In this world of digital age and more avenues of education without person to person contact this poem have the relevance of highly motivated teacher whose earnings are only the disciples and their love. In Indian context teacher and student relationship have prominence which is maintaining still but slowly eroding to some extent.
