Part 3. In the famous poem, Kumarasambhavam, Kaalidasa devoted an entire shlokam to describe the beauty of Parvati's eyes. One should read it to experience the beauty of poetry. So marvellous.

But the poet has omitted to write about the aesthetics the eyes render to one's beauty and personality. A favourite adjective for women used by many Indian poets, especially tho those who wrote in Sanskrit is "Mrugnayanee", meaning doe-eyed.

So wonderfully written. A truly‘anatomical' poem.
