Enjoyed your journey in memory to the African village which you left long ago! The life of the African people living in rural setting and their simple occupations and simple pursuits are brought to life in vivid details. The nostalgic longing for one's place of birth left behind is always there in most people however better may be their present place of settlement. I read this narrative poem with absorbing interest as if reading a short story!
