My True Friend
I always like today,
I never like yesterday or tomorrow,
As I honestly feel
Yesterday had deceived me,
Tomorrow laughs at me
With its uncertainty,
But today is my true friend,
It always gives me light
And encourages me to proceed,
Indeed I love today
And it loves me too.
Yesterday is gone, never to return. Tomorrow is uncertain; it may never come. Live today while it is here; there is nothing else.
