The English grammar still needs some work, but not a lot. There are a lot of those born here who have trouble as well. The rhythms and rhymes are off a bit and need much more work. I was impressed by the selection of your structure, that was correct. The best part was the somplicity of your expression and the genuine tenderness that was very clear, as was the meaning. You got all the big stuff right. I recommend it for this reasn with an 8. GW62

Respected fellow poets and all, first of all I would like to thank you all for reading my poems and posting your precious comments…these words are not said to please anyone.. Now for the comment given by Mr.Ershad well Sir this poem’s not about pleasing you or anyone, as far as I know poems are the feelings which a person writes when he/she feels happy/sad, poems are emotions and in my all poems I write my emotions. In this poem I explain myself as a student learning from you and other poets, it’s the saying “put a smile on the face of one, you’ll find the heaven in this world” if putting smile on anyone’s lips is pleasing and if it’s wrong then I’m accepting the comments written by you and everyone who thinks that way. As far as I know the great poets from past and present had said some beautiful words about there teachers, readers and other poets in there poems as a gratitude or may be I’m wrong.

Asif thanks for sharing this piece with us. But I am not with the theme.I compose not to please or make anybody happy. I write what I feel. That may not be good in readers eyes. Many poets on this earth left us unsung and unlamented. So do not compose for praise or appreciation.Just keep on composing. Just try know whether composing makes your soul happy.

a very nice way of expressing gratitude goes to show that you are a truely virtuous person!

Humility is the greatest of all virtues...to be good and to remain unassuming about it is a quality that is found rare...this worthy well written poem of yours speaks volumes of your good vision and about the vision that every writer must have in mind- his or hers...10
