My Travels Poem by Daniel Miltz

My Travels

Over fruitful forests, i did see trees
I hoof ov'r sleet, slush, ice, raineth- snoweth
On mine own, any which a way journeys
Wand'ring at the yearn of heaven's gloweth

Beareth on back, bodily spir't floweth
Whilst traveling in the tracks, undream'd of
In a vasty windeth depth visits, soeth
To kisseth the fusty sod of soil ruff

Many did see, rip current ocean sh'res
Sunny and cleareth, potshot raineth sprees
Wondrous stones, rocketh, on steepy cliff flo'rs
Umpteen alpine, in the deep forest trees

More than yonder, wild geese in crisp blue air
In elevation over n' under
Heading a home across the landscape fair
Hasteningly, avoiding hunt'r and thund'r

Never here nor there, rather, everywhere
I have travelled years, to come this so far
A drifter, in all my own traveler
I hath found nay answers, only wonder!
