My Sunshine Poem by Rini Shibu

My Sunshine

Rating: 5.0

My sunshine where have you gone
my sunshine
I am waiting since morning
Come and drape me in your warmth
But you are hiding somewhere
Now the day has become night
And the night has prolonged
I have to wait for long
My sunshine where have you gone
My sunshine
Sometimes you burn me in anger
Your face go so red
And I fear to look at you
Still I wait for you
Till you calm down
Don't let me wait for long
Come and drench me in your love
My sunshine where have you gone
My sunshine
I know you peep at me at night
The moonlight is the reflection of your love
and it proves that you can't leave me alone
My sunshine where have you gone
My sunshine
You make me confused
at times of eclipse
If I look at you with my eyes
I will be blind
Still I will be longing for you in the dark
Till you pour light on me
My sunshine where have you gone
My sunshine

An imaginative poem Rini. We all look for sunshine when the day is not clear and bright. Everyday we look forward to see the bright sun shining. Nuder

Waiting for sunshine since morning is definitely very interesting. Sunshine beautifies mind and sunshine reflects hopes. Very thoughtful poem is brilliantly drafted...10
