hey, daniel! i read this with interest. my main response is, thank God for each new day, for each new start- for there are no guarantees we'll have another- and it's best to live each day fully as it comes. you may have already read it- but if not- i have a poem, semi-retired in early spring, that comes to mind on reading this. for me early morning walks- particularly in summer- are particularly important. glen

That's a wonderful glimpse into a peaceful moment of your life and this feeling of contentment that you feel flows to the reader as well. Poetry does this to us...brings peace in the midst of life's frenzy, in the midst of fret and fever. Together with nature, poetry can heal. An enriching, enlightening experience you share when you are in perfect harmony with nature and your inner call. A huge 10.

Hi Rini This poem is about change and accepting it in due time. But the idea you express POETRY IS INFINITE is wonderful. I'm with you 100%! Poetry and its value din't change. They prevail forever.

I always know in the first few lines where a poem will take me.....this one left me deep in thought of the years before the last of summer wine. Those years when one has hopefully achieved peace with their life decisions and are proud of their creative successes. Your poem reiterates to me the relevance of drinking in the beauty of this world...perhaps this is the key to where true happiness lies.
