A beautiful memory of childhood wonderfully woven into a fine poem. Indeed saving money is a valued trait and one that must be instilled into the minds of young children.10

I inserted a nickel/From time to time/The remainder of my school allowance/My parents gave me. Tendency of wise children to save money is very often noticed! You were not an exception but you must be losing some delicious foods! Beautiful poem Rose takes me to my childhood but i was different from you! I was stealing coins from my Papa's purse!

a favored trait? saving? a good trait to have. you cried tears of joy to get the treasure, or tears of pain to have your bank destroyed? OR some of both? ? i'd make some very minor changes in the English, but it is good enough as is: a very nice story of childhood, family, and MONEY! ! ! to MyPoemList (to be continued) ..
