Why fade away from me, my star
I loved you every moment of my life
I searched you everywhere
On every corner of this vast ALBION

I had discovered you in the dark clouds
I had felt your presence everywhere

The clouds shed tears and the moon dimmed
The sky felt disquiet and the world was sad
For you had faded away from my ken

The minutes we glanced
The hours we danced
Are solemn moments for me

I dream all day, all alone
Even in ecstasy or in despair
Your memory enlivens me

Your twinkling eyes and smiling face
Gives me reason to live
For you're the reason for my being
