what does sewed mean here? needle and thread? did you 'want' a comma after But? There MUST be more to this 'story'! at least help me with a Poet's Note! please. but i won't come back looking for it. are you as 'religious' as you seem? it's ok; i still like you. ;) bri :)
You are gifted to touch the heart of all, thanks for the wonderful poem
Really it's a lovely poem. I enjoyed this. Thank you so much.
this poem is actually a portrait not made by you but by the hill of passion, talent and maturity those are lying within you.........greatly enjoyed it.
You packed a lot of vivid imagery into just eight lines. The ripped up concrete (your soul) is off set by the threads (John of Kronstadt's intervention): snow covers asphalt just as the relics cover your pain. I looked up his name in a book in Russian icons thinking just maybe he might be referenced - no luck there. But I wonder if he was like the figure of Father Zosima in BROTHERS KARAMAZOV? When I read that novel at age 16 the world turned upside down for me. I had never been so moved in my life. So I have an inkling of your experience with the relics.
A wonderful spiritual poem indeed. we need spirituality, faith, love, hope. you are penning all that in these small verses. thank you very much
Standing tight with your faith, lovely and great picture of Saint John.....
