Dear Aarzoo, Revisited this beautiful poem, after many months. Loved reading it once again. Yes, everybody needs his/her own space- a few solitary moments, in communion with Him. And in His Treasury there an immense treasure of unending time. So, there peace resides. And time ceases. And, there we able to accumulate all the little joys. In my solitude I found myself This is the place where I sit back And rejoice life's elixir This is the place where I interact with God And drink the cup of peace from God's own hand. This is where, I find profound poetry. Congrats Aarzoo for this exquisite work.10

This poem is so soothing for the nerves. That's what we all need..silence n peace. Time for contemplation amidst the mad rush of this life. This poem inspires me to write one like this. A definite 10.
Sometimes, amidst the hurly-burly of everyday life what we need is a few moments of silence and peace, without it we will cease to be.. I often just sit in a canvas chair, play some soft music, ghazals or classical, sip on a cup of coffee, and look at the sky with or without stars.. It makes me feel good.. The world have become so full of noise now.. Everywhere people are yelling and screaming.. A little silence is so needed.. I can relate so much with this poem Arzoo.. This one is one of the finest poems of yours I have read., Thanks for sharing.

An amazing thought, solitude results in concentration of thinking, we understand that in solitude what we cannot understand in a crowd. A lovely poem by Aarzoo Mehek.
I think of the verse, "Be still and know that I am God"
