A fantastic poem, straight to the point, very intense. Humans destroying our forests and trees everywhere for no apparent reasons, taking away wildlife's homes, robbing us of shade and from the fruits we so deliciously love to eat. A very sad tribute to the tree and it's destruction by man.
The Earth devoid of trees cannot be imagined! It will be dull and dreary! Where will our feathered friends build their nests then and how will man enjoy the 'yummy' fruits so palatable to his mouth! Enjoyed this sad soliloquy of the tree, about to be cut down!
A tree cannot plead for itself. A poet can put it in words as gathered in the lines of this poem. Hope these words will change their mind.
