claiming the colours of life my computer thinks colours is misspelled, BUT i guess your part of the world uses the 'king's english'. i liked the whole poem, but especially enjoyed the sound the two lines i copied. [i just thought of your stern warning posted in your about you (or is that about me?) introduction to yourself on your poet page. i hope i am not breaking the rules by copying two lines of your poem in my comment! ] i don't understand the two lines but i still enjoyed reading them. my wife thinks i should have moments of quiet when i am short of words (there i go again; quoting you) , but those moments for her are few and far between, as some would say. i am most quiet around her when i am composing poetry or immersed in poemhunter. for that she should be thankful! thanks for sharing. this is the first of your poem's i have read, i believe. bri

When we are short of words, we express more otherwise and so is your poem...self-explanatory,

who knows better than shahzia as to how beautifully and in few words, keeping the right word at right place one can compose a beauty of a poem, , only the' thoughts' are 'scattered' but the poem is so compact :)

Short of words means that after the period of silence, a new great combinations of words are ready to come in the shape of extraordinary poems. A volcano of words will burst with fragrance of flowers.

Quiet is not silence to be end not a stop for our thought but as a force that gently pull everything we have into the center after focusing into one target....called it meditation, called it thinking, called it revising...all quietness related to peace and mind laboring....rather than making a noise...nothing can be a meaning_Soul
