'My Scars, My Story' Poem by MTHANDAZO SAMAL MKHWANANZI

'My Scars, My Story'

I wear my scars with pride,
Like badges of honor, side by side.
Each one a story, of trials and strife,
A testament to the strength, of this fragile life.

My scars remind me, of the battles I've won,
Of the darkness I've faced, and the light that's been done.
They tell the tale, of a soul that's been tried,
And the heart that's still beating, with a spirit that won't subside.

I wear my scars with pride,
For they show the world, that I've lived and survived.
I won't hide them, or try to conceal,
For they're a part of me, and the story I reveal.
