When I secure my abode at night,
I shut out fear and ugly deeds.
I fasten each bolt snugly tight,
Feeling safe in all ones needs.
I lock out cares that sadness shows,
Securing in joys dear to me.
I lock out all ills that life expose,
And lock in sweet security.
I shut out sorrows blighting breath,
I lock in endless hope and love divine.
And quiet happiness and harmony,
Safe and secure in this sanctuary of mine.
