Sleeping beside you, my favourite soul
Is heaven on earth, making my heart whole
Not because of the bed or the blanket so fine
But because of the love, that's forever intertwined

My heart finds rest, after a chaotic day
Knowing I'm not alone, in every single way
You chose me, again and again, even in your sleep
A love so strong, it's the rhythm that our hearts keep

Fingers find each other, in the dark of night
Legs tangle, breathing syncs, a love so pure and bright
It's healing, comfort, trust, all in one silent hold
A sense of safety, that never grows old

The world may be loud, but this love is quiet and true
Felt in the spaces, where words don't reach you
No need to say it aloud, it's a love that's understood
Two souls resting, loving, and belonging, in every moment, every mood

That is what heaven feels like, a love so real and kind
Two hearts beating, as one, forever intertwined.
