You remind me of the river I used to hang out with many friends back home. Its the ' Singapore River'. Now, it crosses through the heart of the city's Central Business District and the great skyliners. No doubt, your description of 'my river' was superb and splendid.Good work Noorudeen!

This is an extra ordinary piece of poetry. I read it carefully and studied it for some generous time and I will come back to read it again. My late father told me to watch for life's interesting contrasts and war of elements, he called. Discovering beauty in the least expected corners and finding the most peculiar secret hidden in the simplest and the frailest and the least expected. It was this calm desert under this vast sky blended with your relished memories of that river you lavishly garbed, all of these have conspired inspired a sensitive soul and one distinguished poet to write this.
