My Pursuit Of God

I'm on a quest today
My soul needs some refreshing
It's outside of myself to gain it
It must be of God I'm guessing
So as I'm walking I'm praying
God reveal Yourself to me
I'm trusting that He will answer that prayer
As His Spirit speaks to me

I know that heavenly Father
You've created all that is
I am but a speck of dust
With a definite life of demise
Yet You in Your great wonderment
Has a plan that's just for me
Help me to wait with patience Lord
Knowing that Your hand is upon me

Thank You Lord for the reliance of
Your Word is Who You are
It shall not return unto You void
For forever it's where You are
Though Heaven and earth may pass away
Eternal Your Word exists
My pursuit has found You as it's Home
My soul is engulfed in that bliss!

So thank You Heavenly Father
I now know of that revelation
That You've provided by way of the Cross
The perfect gifting of Salvation
So I praise You for my pursuit
It was definitely worth the walking
My prayers have come to fruition Lord
I listened while You did the talking!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
