How like a psalm indeed, Valsa. And I relate to your refrain in times that we’re brought low. In scripture people of faith are referred to as Israel—from the Hebrew meaning those who wrestle with God. We don’t expect easy street (as the expression goes) , but in life’s struggles, in the rough commerce of life, we call on the One we know who is, call for mercy and relief as you do here. -Glen
A beautiful prayer that is the voice of every sensitive heart. From the vocabulary to the structure, everything is just right. A soulful prayer from the bottom of heart...and the reader cries with you, Abandon me not.
Oh my Lord on high/I long to hear your voice/Beyond the clamour of worldly echoes/I am so full of desire to bloom/Bid me rise, set my heart free..........So earnest, so sublime! You have put your heart and soul to draft this Psalm which is in a different plain (personal but can be generalized) as compared to Longfellow’s ‘Psalm of Life’. An adorable piece of work! (10)

It is really a brilliant psalm having touching expression with nice diction. It reveals the pain and anguish of heart before God. It appeals God not to be abandoned the devotees. I love most lines are........ Extend your hand That I will hold it like a child And walk close to your heels That my heart will sigh no more But shall dwell in joy evermore!
