Leaves having done their job fall. They then do another job - making compost - new soil for new plants. Lovely poem, I love trees too.

Beautiful depiction of the tree and the wind. I love trees. Wind itself is a natural power so nothing wrong but as metaphors the wind and the tree work greatly and something special.Loved reading.

It is so hard to see our precious tree being molested by the angry wind. A most painful experience.5 Stars Full Vote. To MyPoemList.

Of course, nature can be at the cruellest, like we can read in this amazingly described poem of the great poetess, but if this momentum is compared with a mother whose. children are taken away without mercy, this deepest pain for the loving mother, at the same time also for the great poetess. Nature can be sweet but also cruellest like the scene we have just watched.in this magnificent poem.

Angry wind~ who is~ I do not know But the Precious Tree- it seems to me the poet or poetic feelings to universal humanity as the innocent part of nature~ The Angry wind~ for what ~ I do not know, but it bitterly devastated the roots of peace from the ground of earth~ oh! sometimes I feel here- it's the hypocrite mind of earth dwellers who unnaturally ruin the pleasant environment of the world! it's very difficult to understand for me

We have been hearing of cyclones and storms recently! Here you have painted the sad plight of an uprooted tree. It could also be the plight of someone dear to you, beaten down by the adversities of life as our friend Khairul has rightly put! Whatever it is, the poet feels sad over the bitter fate of the thrashed victim by powers beyond its/his/ her control....! A powerful composition!

Perhaps, you are referring to a person as your 'Precious Tree', who has been brought down by the powerful, freaky Nature, over which you/(we) have no control. Before being brought down, the person was tormented by the diseases, by the loss of near and dear ones and of children. I am not sure, but this might be a clue to what could be your 'Precious Tree'. Or literally, it could also be just a tree that you loved so much, being tormented by a tempest.
