Poets by the dozens begin to recite
In the twinkling of an eye
My turn forthwith
Here and now, by and by
The cadence flows, as I bespout
This is now reality
Bongos thumping
My enunciation soaring
Thoughts flourishing
My mind is my affinity
Night mouth, rambling, poetically
Among great white columns
I search for word blossoms
My memory jolts a masterpiece
Stirring the air with ease
Seeking the light
Echoes, echoing bright
A thousand applauds
A thousand hurrahs
A final howl
Show and yell
Taking a bow
