My Parents Taught Me... Poem by Arfa Iris

my parents are the one,
who gave me confidence,
to walk over every hindrance.
who gave me courage,
to stand out of average.
who tugged me on,
where ever, i stopped or fell down.
coz' of whom my strength doubles,
every time, i feel weak or i am in troubles.
who made me strong enough,
to face the time hard & tough.
who gave me humility,
to always remember simplicity.
who taught me to be meek,
with the poor & the weak,
who taught me 'victory is in vain,
which through deceive we gain.'
who gave me comfort & ease,
& also taught me to face difficulties.
