My Only Lesson Poem by Kenny Mantinelli

My Only Lesson

Do you believe,
In destiny?
It's time to see,
Everyone rests in peace.

Life doesn't last,
For eternity;
So have a blast,
Eternally.

Don't have fear,
Just have fun;
Hang with peers,
Until it's done.

But don't be scared,
To take a chance or two;
Why get flared,
Over what? Or Who?

Doesn't matter much,
Jump around a bunch;
Maybe you'll get a touch,
Maybe she'll get a hunch.

How does one get there?
How does one care?
How does one feel hair?
How does one see an alternate lair.

To be or not to be,
That's no longer the question;
To see or not to see,
That's my only lesson.
