My Old Mixing Spoon! Comments

I am tempted to use this as your 2nd showcase poem. See my previous comments, please. But I will look at at least one more before making my decision. Then I will have to go to a machine which copies and pastes. And you can start work on MY birthday cake! Bri :)

I have enjoyed this very much. would you allow me to post this in my May or June showcase for PH poets/poems on my PH site? your poem would be displayed with others and identified as yours. if you are interested and are not yet familiar with my “showcase”, feel free to ask about it and I can send details. there is no entry ‘fee’, no voting, and no obligation to you or others except to share your good works. I allow two poems per poet per month, only limiting one of the poems to a ‘rough maximum’ of 24 lines. one poem can be as long as you want it to be. I like the combination of repetition and rhyming. please let me know when the cake is ready to be served. thanks. bri :) p.s. I especially like carrot cake with cream cream cheese frosting/icing and walnut halves decorating the top. a little ice cream on the side doesn’t hurt (too much) .
