I crawled away from my tangled blankets,
And stumbled upon sweet memories
Of your sweet essence;
And my eyes overflowed with
Bitter tears!
Because everything around me just spelled
Of your sweet goodness,
That I ached for your sweet caresses;
Only from you I found,
That love that best supported my wishes.
Oh, my beloved other half of my only self;
Please don't hide your sweet face
That I love to see at my wakings;
Your sweet innocence mesmerized
My essence to dream of you only.
Your soft straight short hair that,
Best described how my own looked,
When I was a kid would play at the
Passing of the invisible winds;
Such childhood innocent beauties!
It's been many years now that we separated;
But still I could fully remember how you moved;
Your caresses, your kisses, your lovings;
They all kept me remembering
The wholeness of your being.
My longings, my dreams, my hopings,
Steemed and brewed from your
Love to me that never fades!
And all of these within my heart have become
My daily routine, my Daily Office at my prayers!
