I beg you not to change, my dear-
I blush, but  must go far.
I long and scan with breath suppressed
To seek my evening star.
I plan to scan you in my memories
Just before my end will come, 
So forever I'll be  with you-
Be at rest with no undone. 
I bow, revere and venerate you, my dear- 
My beacon without a mar, 
A sight you've been, 
A delight you are- 
and so I'm off-
To view you ever from a-far
