No one is quite sure of his identity
And no body seems to endure his audacity

my dear valsa, at first i was appalled by your gall in writing about me here. then i realized you were talking about Brian Johnston. of course! i should have realized it right off the bat. nice write. kill the guy when no one is looking. actually maybe nobody would mind if you killed him. :) bri p.s. thanks for sharing. this is a departure from your butterflies-and-sweet-breezes poems. keep up the good work! ok, bedtime now. nighty night. [don't let any more westerners into your neighborhood. it's not good for property values.]

well, in this piece o poesy, the Bores of E V L and Tolerance of E M F and of the cross section of indian life by Nirad Choudri all is very much visible. So, as we have understood the extend of our new neighbor, let us bear with him, and with our manners refined, and unconditional love, bring him to live in a balanced personality though. Though is set in a humorous frame, the sharp dissection is worth changing any live bores. hahah. smile. enjoying the write very much.

Well, variety is the spice of life, they say. Sometimes, it is natural we come across such neighbours, they clearly show us the difference between 'the wise' and the 'otherwise'. They also make our lungs weaker as we laugh unthinkably when we are close to them. ha! But in all, a nice humorous poem. Good job!

If you go to him, he will bore you with his brag With stories, your precious time he will drag Bragging about oneself leads to everyone disliking the person. Everyone needs to realize this. Listening more and expressing some compassion are needed to be appreciated. The poem teaches what one needs to do and how to be a good neighbor. Thank you.

A lovely poem, but wish I don't get a neighbour like him; as I hate to be bored by braggers! Thanks for sharing, Valsa!

I love this funny poem. When I started reading it I was expecting that by the end I would find that your neighbour has a redeeming feature. I suppose it is a human characteristic to expect to find some good in each one of us. But you resisted the temptation to fall for this cliché and presented the reality of life. Well written both as a poem and a point of view.

Beautiful poem Valsa...No choice for neighbours, nor we can choose, nor they can choose their neighbours. Beautiful way you have portrayed the truth in beautiful verses. Loved it.

One can change his/her friends but not neighbours, their is nothing much one can do, one can try to be as much good and polite with him as possible. :)

The story and essence of poem is a usual episode people everywhere faces. In fact to avoid the attentive hearing of the bored conversation is to be silent and think something useful for our own thoughts and knowledge and escape from the boring. Though imaginations I feel it is a good poem and relevant in life events that I think.
