My New Identity

My new idenity is in Jesus Christ
I've been adopted and redeemed
Loved with an everlasting love
So surreal to me it seems
That Father God would send His Son
As our Sacrificial Lamb
Is anyone else here now rejoicing
You betcha! ...praise God I am! ! !

Adopted into the family of God
A child of the heavenly King
The riches of glory now are mine
His inheritance offering
Christ in me and I in Christ
Praise God for that compatibility
The Holy Spirit my witness bearer
That the Son has set me free!

Nothing like being known you're loved
Can I get a witness here...Amen!
The love of God in Jesus Christ
Brings the greatest of blessings to men
How I love how much He loved me
So willing to give of His life
I have my adoption papers in print
Praise God for Jesus Christ! ...

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
