My name is Death, I am not feared
For I am but a natural part of life
A journey that all must eventually take
To a place where there's no more strife
I have no face, yet I am known
In every corner of this Earth
Some see me as a friend, others as foe
But I am neither of these, for I have no worth
I don't come uninvited, nor do I ask
I take no pleasure in causing pain
But when the time has come at last
I will take your hand and ease your strain
I am not heartless, nor am I cruel
I am simply fulfilling my role
For every ending is just a new beginning
And I am the one who helps your soul
I bring an end to suffering
And grant you eternal peace
I am the final step in your journey
But for me, it will never cease
Some see me as a dark figure
But I am neither good nor bad
I am simply a part of the cycle
That every living being must have
So do not fear when I come knocking
For I am the inevitable fate
Just close your eyes and trust in me
For I am Death, the ultimate escape.
